WHAT IS BLOGGER?

Blogger is a blog publishing platform which allows you to publish a blog or a website very easily by simply registering in blogger from google account and starting to write
for your blog with no previous experience in HTML or without having to write a single code for free.

        Blogger hosts your site from google at their subdomain blogspot.com however it is great for a newbies in blogging. Blogs can also be hosted in custom domain if you have registered for a domain for free, which is great as other platform like wordpress charge about $13 to use a custom domain.

       The best part about using blogger is that you can choose various templates or themes for the website and customize them on your own way or if you have little knowlrdge about CSS creating your own themes is also not so hard from blogger.

        This site also allows the user to edit blogs through mobile apps for android and ios and publish the blog or save as draft to publish it later just as you can do from your PC.

LIMITATIONS OF BLOGGER

       However, there are some limitations for using blogger as a blog publishing platform. And some of them are listed below.

1)  For your blog description it provides only 500 characters and if your blog is very broad or general it makes gou very difficult to describe your blog in that small space.

2) The number of blog you can publish from this platform is limited to 100 blogs per account. Though this may seem huge number however if you want to be involved in blogging daily, this number may not cover your requirement.

3) Account suspension. If your site violates any terms and conditons of the site with or without your knowledge then the site would be suspended without any prior notices and you can do nothing about that and all your blog posts would be lost.

4) No of pictures and posts are limited.  This platform provides just 1GB of storage for your pictures and videos to upload in your blog. And only 50 posts can be published daily though there is no overall limit on that.

Conclusion

  Though there are limitations on using blogger it is free. And you can publish anything you wish online for free. Although, for some options you need to go premium but most of their services are for free. Hence, blogger is the best if you are new in blogging and want to know how to use these platforms and be comfortable in using it.
