Weebly and Wix are the two most popular website building platform with easy to use drag and drop option both started in 2006 and both are somewhat similar to each other in various features alike.

 

Similarities

- Both of the website building site offers drag and drop interface which makes it easier to customize and develop a website.

- Android and iphone app are availabe to make developing available almost everywhere and automatically generates a mobile version.

- Basic features for blogging and e-commerce is available in free versions with lots of themes to choose from.

 

Differences

- Wix does not have an export function, so you cannot migrate your site to another platform whereas you can export codes to another platform from weebly.

- There are ad banners on your website in wix if you are not upgraded to paid plan and ads in Wix are more prominent, however in weebly there is only one banner in the footer.

- Weebly pricing plan ranges from $8 to $49 per month however wix is more cheaper as the price ranges from $4.50 to $24.50 per month.

CONCLUSION

         Though lots of features of these platforms are similar, there are some differences in their services which can lead you to the conclusion of which platform is better for you and your website.
